A Memoir of the Nightmare that is Castle Windows

I purchased 14 windows in February 2022. I was told by their salesman that I'd have them installed within 2 months. This two month promised turned into 8 months. It would have been much longer I hadn't called them weekly to check on the status of my windows. During the 3-day install in September 2022 I noticed condensation inside 3 of the windows. The crew paused the installation due to a number of broken seals and simply placed the windows inside the window frame. They told us not to touch the windows or lean against them or they would fall out of the wall. They left insulation and wall interiors exposed to the elements. Despite calling numerous times, no one from castle showed up with new windows or to even temporarily seal the window frames. We had water damage inside our walls from heavy rain that hit us during the month of September. 

Fast forward 6 months and we had elevated mold spores in the rooms that were left unsealed. Our house is now undergoing mold remediation. We had 2 home inspection companies evaluate the work done by Castle, and both of them essentially condemned the work that was done. One inspector flat out said "it looks like a bunch of kindergartners installed these windows!". 

Instead of adding to the value of our home, Castle's botched window installation job is now costing us more than we could have ever imagined. 

I highly recommend that you seek your new window installations elsewhere!

Castle Windows Work Quality

The workmanship demonstrated by the Castle Windows installation crew was described as inadequate and "amateur" by 2 independent home inspection companies (TrueView and First Choice Home Inspection)

Home Inspection Reports

Within the month that Castle Windows left the window frames of our house unsealed, water penetration caused mold growth between the interior and exterior walls of our house. Don't make the mistake that I did. Find a reputable window installer near you, and avoid this company at all costs!
